Annapurna Circuit Trek Overview

17-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

  • Arrive in Kathmandu. Rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 2 – Drive to Besisahar → Hike to Bulbhule (923m)

  • 7-hour drive to Besisahar, followed by a 3-hour hike to Bulbhule.

Day 3 – Bulbhule → Chyamje (1,400m) – 5–6 hours trek

  • Trek through lush landscapes and traditional villages.

Day 4 – Chyamje → Bagarchhap (2,160m) – 5–6 hours trek

  • Ascend through forests and cross suspension bridges.

Day 5 – Bagarchhap → Chame (2,630m) – 6–7 hours trek

  • Trek through pine forests and enjoy views of Annapurna II.

Day 6 – Chame → Pisang (3,300m) – 5–6 hours trek

  • Explore Pisang, the cultural hub of the Annapurna Circuit.

Day 7 – Pisang → Manang (3,500m) – 6–8 hours trek

  • Trek through arid landscapes with stunning mountain views.

Day 8 – Acclimatization Day in Manang

  • Rest and explore Manang. Optional short hikes for acclimatization.

Day 9 – Manang → Ledar (4,250m) – 4–5 hours trek

  • Ascend to higher altitudes, passing through yak pastures.

Day 10 – Ledar → Phedi/High Camp (4,600m) – 3–4 hours trek

  • Short trek to prepare for the Thorong La Pass crossing.

Day 11 – Phedi → Muktinath (3,760m) via Thorong La Pass (5,416m) – 8.5 hours trek

  • Challenging day crossing the Thorong La Pass. Descend to Muktinath.

Day 12 – Muktinath → Jomsom (2,750m) – 4–5 hours trek

  • Trek through the Kali Gandaki Valley to Jomsom.

Day 13 – Drive Jomsom → Tatopani (1,190m) – 2 hours drive

  • Relax in natural hot springs at Tatopani.

Day 14 – Tatopani → Ghorepani (2,850m) – 7–8 hours trek

  • Trek through lush forests and traditional villages.

Day 15 – Ghorepani → Poon Hill (3,210m) → Nayapul → Pokhara

  • Early morning hike to Poon Hill for panoramic views. Descend to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (1.5 hours).

Day 16 – Drive Pokhara → Kathmandu

  • Free time in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner.

Day 17 – End of Itinerary

  • Airport transfer for departure.
