Lobuche East offers an exciting introduction to technical mountaineering, perfect for those eager to elevate their skills! Get ready to be captivated by incredible views of Everest and the stunning Khumbu region as you embark on this thrilling adventure The itinerary even includes a visit to Everest Base Camp, which not only aids in acclimatization but also adds to the excitement of your journey. Get set for an unforgettable experience in one of the most amazing places on Earth!

Day 1 – Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Dare to Dream Adventures will greet you and take you to your hotel in Thamel, an area of Kathmandu famous for its trekking shops, restaurants, and bars. After checking in, the rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu. A welcome meeting will be scheduled in the early evening to discuss trip details, meet the team, and answer questions. The evening is free to relax, dine, or purchase last-minute essentials.
Note: If you booked additional days in Kathmandu, the welcome meeting will occur on the official first day of the trek.


Day 2 – Flight to Lukla (2850m) → Trek to Benkar (2630m) – 5–6 hours
We aim to fly from Kathmandu, but during peak season, you may be driven 4–5 hours to Ramechapp Airport. Enjoy a 20–30 minute scenic flight to Lukla, offering views of Everest and the Himalayas. After landing, a Dare to Dream representative will take you for breakfast and introduce the team. The trek to Benkar follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing Sherpa villages, mani stones, prayer flags, and suspension bridges. Wildlife sightings are possible.


Day 3 – Benkar → Namche Bazaar (3440m) – 4–5 hours
After a 1-hour walk to Monjo, enter Sagarmatha National Park. Descend alongside the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests and waterfalls. Cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge (photo opportunity) and climb 2 hours to Namche Bazaar. Midway, catch your first glimpse of Everest and Lhotse. Explore Namche’s shops, bakeries, and restaurants.


Day 4 – Namche Acclimatization Day
Hike to Syangboche (3900m) for views of yak farms, telecom towers, and mountains like Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Descend to visit The Nest (VR Everest experience) and the Sherpa Cultural Museum. Afternoon includes a museum visit and Everest viewpoint.


Day 5 – Namche → Tengboche (3867m) – 5–6 hours
Trek through “Nepali flat” terrain and pine forests. Spot pheasants, musk deer, or red pandas. Descend to Phungi Tanga for lunch, then climb Tengboche Hill to visit Tengboche Monastery. Overnight in Tengboche or Deboche.


Day 6 – Tengboche/Deboche → Dingboche (4410m) – 4–5 hours
Walk through rhododendron forests to Upper Pangboche Monastery (optional Yeti skull visit). Lunch in Somare. Terrain turns rocky beyond the tree line. Arrive at Dingboche’s walled fields and stupas.


Day 7 – Dingboche Acclimatization Day (4800m)
Climb Nagarsang Peak (4800m) for views of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, and 8000m peaks (Makalu, Cho Oyu, Lhotse). Free afternoon in Dingboche.


Day 8 – Dingboche → Lobuche (4900m) – 6–7 hours
Trek up Khumbu Khola Valley to Thukla for lunch. Steep climb to Everest Memorial, then walk beside Everest Glacier to Lobuche.


Day 9 – Lobuche → Gorak Shep (5164m) → Everest Base Camp (5364m)
Hike rocky paths on Everest Glacier to Gorak Shep. After lunch, trek 2–2.5 hours to EBC for celebrations and photos. Return to Gorak Shep.


Day 10 – Kalapatthar (5645m) → Gorak Shep → Lobuche
Early 4 AM climb to Kalapatthar for sunrise mountain views. Breakfast in Gorak Shep, then return to Lobuche. Afternoon climbing workshop and gear check.


Day 11 – Lobuche → Lobuche East High Camp (5600m) – 4–5 hours
Trek to Lobuche East Base Camp, then ascend scree moraine to High Camp. Afternoon training/rest and final gear checks.


Day 12 – Lobuche East Summit Day → Pheriche
Summit attempt (6119m) via steep rock/snow terrain. Celebrate 360° views. Descend to Pheriche.


Day 13 – Pheriche → Namche
Long descent to Namche. Free evening for shopping/dining.


Day 14 – Namche → Lukla
Return to Lukla. Farewell dinner and tips for the team.


Day 15 – Flight to Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu. Free time and farewell dinner.


Day 16 – Departure
Airport transfer or extend your stay.
